How long Swedish Customs takes and how to check whether your number is active.
At Swedish Customs
Applications from Swedish companies are mostly handled automatically within the hour. Applications from foreign applicants are checked manually; Swedish Customs states that these are handled within about a week. Customs alone determines the actual time.
With us
After receipt of payment we usually check and submit your application within one working day. If a document is missing or unclear we contact you first.
Check the status
As soon as the number has been issued it appears in the EU register: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/dds2/eos/eori_validation.jsp
Swedish Customs sends the decision by e-mail. If we applied as your representative, we forward it to you.
Changes later on
If your company name or address changes, the registration must be updated with Swedish Customs.
