Data we process
- Applicant data: name, address, country, company registration number or passport number, VAT numbers
- Contact data: name, position, e-mail address, phone number
- Signature (as image) and uploaded documents (registration certificate, proof of the first customs activity, passport or ID copy)
- Payment data: reference number, amount, payment status; for card payments name and e-mail address at Stripe (card data is processed by Stripe only)
- Technical data: IP address and browser information for security and abuse prevention
Purpose and legal basis
We process your data to prepare, check and submit your EORI application to Swedish Customs as your representative, to settle the payment, to issue the invoice and to communicate with you. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) our legal obligations, in particular accounting (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in security and abuse prevention (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use your data for advertising and make no automated decisions.
Recipients
- Swedish Customs / Tullverket (submission of the application and attachments)
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland (card payments); Stripe may process data in the USA on the basis of standard contractual clauses
- Hosting provider in the EU (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany) for data storage
- E-mail provider for sending messages and invoices
- For bank transfers: the payment account provider of the operator sees the name of the payer and the reference
Retention
We keep application data and uploaded documents for up to 12 months after completion of the application and delete them afterwards; on request we delete them earlier, unless legal obligations prevent this. Invoice data is kept for the statutory retention period (10 years).
International transfers
The controller is based in Switzerland, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection. Your application data is passed on to Swedish Customs, which is necessary to perform the contract.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Contact us at info@eori-sweden.eu. You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or the authority of your country of residence.
Cookies
This website only uses technically necessary browser storage (form data saved in your browser, session). No tracking or advertising cookies are set and no analytics or advertising pixels are used.
